Upcoming Biocontrol Training Initiatives and Applications for Financial Support

 

IOBC-Global may financially support participation of young career biological control scientist (< 35 years) who are paying member of one of the Regional Sections of IOBC, so they can take part in a training course. Applications for training courses with participation by young careeer biocontrol workers should be send to secretary-general@iobc-global.org who will inform you about guidelines and conditions for funding.

Spain, 31 January - 7 June 2022
Name of course: Expert or Specialist in Biological and Integrated Pest Control
Institute / organization providing this course: Research Institute CIBIO, University of Alicante, Spain.
Course period and length of course in days: Both courses start on 31 January 2022 and finish on 7 June 7th 2022 (Expert) or 30 June (Specialist); the Expert course is taught entirely online, the Specialist course is partly virtual , partly with personal participation at the end of the course.
Course language: Spanish
Costs of course: Expert 1500 €, Specialist 1890 €
Entrance requirements: An official degree in higher education is required for both courses. For the Expert course, non-graduated persons with professional experience in this field may also apply.
